See how Soldiers punished Armed robbers for stealing cigarettes, phone chargers, beer and other items (Photos)
Three men who were caught for stealing cigarettes, beer, phone chargers, generator, cooking pots, bicycle, wheelbarrow and other items were hilariously punished by the Nigerian army.
According to a Facebook user, Sandy Williams who shared the post, the men were stripped naked and ordered to dance in public while a local musician sang in Hausa and played his drum for them to dance.
Although it's yet unclear where it happened but we suspect it did occur in the Northern part of Nigeria.
The punishment has raised mixed reactions between Facebook users, some found it very hilarious why others criticized the action taken by the Military men.

Ryan Seacrest is reportedly pissed that Katy Perry will earn more than him on American Idol
Rumours making the rounds have it that Ryan Seacrest is furious his American Idol co-host Katy Perry will take home a fatter paycheck than he will in her first season on the show.
Ryan has been the host of the popular series since its launch back in 2002, and while he reportedly earns around $10 million per season, Katy Perry's $25 million offer puts him in the shade.
Sources say things are so bad, Ryan is considering quitting the show. Richard Rushfield who authored American Idol: The Untold Story said: '[He] was suddenly asking himself why he would come back for a 16th season at a salary [much smaller than that] of the newcomer judge.'
Katy Perry hasn't been at all modest about her hefty fee. During an interview with a radio station she bragged about her earnings saying: 'I’m really proud that, as a woman, I got paid. And you know why? I got paid more than pretty much any guy that’s been on that show.'

Comedienne Chigurl opens up about her marriage life
In an emotional interview with Kemi Adetiba for "King Women", Chioma Omeruah aka Chigul shared the never before heard story of her life. The Comedienne revealed that her marriage crashed just after one year even though she married as a virgin, her marital issues, discovering her husband had a love child and her initial strained relationship with her mother. Read some excerpts after the cut..
"When my marriage fell apart, I felt like I failed at something and I had no where to learn. It fell apart and I didn't wan't it to fall apart. I felt like I disappointed my dad because we talked about it before he died. I felt like when I needed people for me then, no one was. No one was there and I wanted people to be there, I wanted to be able to go to my mum and cry and say I'm tired. Then she'll just always say, Go back to your husband.
"The worst was when I discovered that my husband had a child with someone else. This was a year into my separation. When I found out my mum had heard, I was like, I'm done with everyone. Don't talk to me.
"But I later thought about it. How was she supposed to tell me? I knew it affected her, I knew the way my life was going affected her. The worst thing for me is not being in a relationship, I wanted to give her grandchildren, I wanted us to bond over those things and my success with my life, career is great., it's wonderful, I thank God for it everyday but I want other things too. I want to ta;k to her about how children misbehave and she can now say .....
"I met my husband in 2007. His uncles were my father's people. We were friends as teenagers and in secondary school. When I came back from America, we started talking. After about a year courtship, we decided to get married. He proposed and I said Yes. We were not perfect, they were good days, very happy times. It just got to a place where he didn't care anymore, I didn't care anymore. we both didn't care. It took me a long place where we decided we need to divorce. We were separated for so long but in that time, I still wanted to see that maybe somewhere in the back of my mind we didn't try had enough, maybe we could, but he wasn't interested anymore. And when we started discussing divorce, we became more cordial. I didn't;t want to end things really badly anyway, I would rather we stay cordial because we had to see, we are related to people who are in our lives all the time and till this very day his cousins, uncles are still calling me the wife. It just sort of fizzled and I can't tell you when or how.
"I had been made to believe that it was my job to keep that afloat and the fact that it sank, I felt I failed at this. It fell apart and then I find out about the child. I got upset because we were still officially married buy then, emotionally, he had left the building, because he was with someone else
"We were married for about a year, I lived in Abuja, he lived in Lagos aso I came to Lagos every weekend. When people say oh maybe it's;s because you guys did not live together, I say well there are people who did long distance for years. I don't think it was a cause, I think it was a factor. But you see, before I moved to Abuja, the discussion was to come to Abuja. That was the plan. But he decided against it later. I had a good Job and I wasn't going to leave it. What were we going to do financially? I didn't just decide to go to Abuja as people will think. That isn't what just happened. He just decided not to come. I decided to make it work, coming to Lagos every weekend for about a year. No disrespect to him because we all had our issues, so distance was a small factor. I am the cover up queen. I would never want anyone to see that things are not working. He's not as outgoing as I am, he's colder and I think people noticed that. He has a habit, he could not be in communication with anyone for a long time and literally wouldn't talk for months to anyone in the family. His family can tell you that.
"That was his way and I discovered that It would be a worse off crime if I did not live my life to the fullest, because I was depressed, I went through depression. My friends in Abuja had a small intervention. I was literally broken inside.
My marriage just fizzled. He didn't want to talk to me. Would not talk to me. I would reach out, apologize, send texts, he would not speak to me.
"There are also things I did that were wrong. One particular incident, I sold the wedding rings. Yes, I did. Ask me why? You see in Nigeria, that's the end of the story, you deserve to be hung, whatever. In my mind, my rings were a symbol of something that did not exist. It was a circle I was wearing in my finger. Did I have a husband, no. He was absent.
"I'm happy it happened at one year, with no children, no attachments. That's not how I want to bring up children (referring to custody arrangements). I want it to be um a house with Mummy and Daddy. I married at 33 and was a virgin. That was my first ever anything and it was supposed to be special, it was supposed to last.

Somali al-Shabaab terror group stone man to death for adultery
Al-Shabab Islamist fighters on Sunday, May 28, stoned a man to death as punishment for alleged adultery in Ramo Adey village in the south-central Bay region, Somalia.
44-year-old Dayow Mohamed Hassan was convicted by an Islamic court of being in an adulterous relationship with a woman and impregnating her, despite having two wives, Moalim Geedow, the regional governor representing the al Qaeda-linked insurgency said.
Geedow told Reuters that Hassan was buried neck-deep in a hole then pelted with stones.
"The man was married with two wives and children. He was publicly stoned to death today for committing adultery according to the Islamic sharia," Geedow said.
"The man had a third woman who was a divorcee. He did not have her according to sharia. He deceived her, saying that he went to a sheikh (local leader) and that he married her. However, when the woman got pregnant, the two families debated and there was no trace of valid matrimony. The court ruled he did not marry her legally and he was stoned to death."
Al Shabaab is fighting to overthrow the weak U.N.-backed government and impose its own strict interpretation of Islamic law. It was a radical offshoot of the Islamic Courts Union, an alliance of Islamic courts that ruled the capital of Mogadishu and much of the south in 2006.

Gang of drug dealers including two Nigerian brothers jailed for more than 40 years in the UK
A gang of six drug dealers including two Nigerian brothers, Kenechi and Oluchi Ochereobia, who were supplying heroin and crack cocaine between Cardiff, London and Norwich, were on Friday, May 26, handed jail sentences totaling over 42 years, following a proactive investigation by the Met's Trident and Area Crime Command, with support from colleagues from South Wales Police and Norfolk Constabulary.
The Trident investigation was launched in March 2016 as officers became aware of a drugs supply network they believed was operating out of London to supply drugs in and around the Norwich area.
Officers uncovered that the Ochereobia brothers were running a network of drugs couriers out of their respective bases in Cardiff and Hackney in east London. Kenechi was controlling the operation through a central mobile phone number, which he and his brother used to contact hundreds of numbers via text when they had supplies of drugs available.
The brothers would receive orders back, and then instruct others to supply the users in Norwich. Their couriers would then collect the money in exchange for the drugs in Norwich.
Detective Sergeant Paul Harris, from the Met's Trident and Area Crime Command, said :
"This was a complex investigation spanning from Cardiff to Norwich via London. Kenechi Ochereobia tried to hide his involvement in the large-scale supply of drugs in Norwich by pretending to be a legitimate clothes distributor, whilst in reality he was getting younger gang members to run drugs across the country. I would like to thank South Wales Police and Norfolk Constabulary for their support on this operation."
Enquiries revealed that Kenechi was hiring vehicles and was travelling between Cardiff, London and Norwich in the hire cars to facilitate the dealing and oversee operations.
Kenechi was stopped in a hire car and arrested in Norwich in connection with an unrelated matter on 10 June 2016, along with Frankie Dos Santos. Officers also searched a nearby address in Verbana Road the pair had just visited and found Elliot Murawski along with £6,000 in cash hidden inside an oven at the house. Murawski was also arrested but were released from custody whilst enquiries continued.
However, Murawski was stopped and arrested again on 30 August 2016 at Birchanger Services and he was found in possession of approximately £3,000 worth of heroin and crack cocaine. Officers were able to demonstrate that Murawski was a key part of the distribution network and was regularly in contact with Kenechi.
Further enquiries led officers to identify Calvyn Green as being linked to the network and he was arrested on 6 September 2016 at Ipswich Railway Station on a London-bound train from Norwich. He was found in possession of almost £2,500 in cash, as well as mobile phones that had been used to communicate with both Kenechi and those he was supplying the drugs to.
Two weeks later, officers stopped and arrested Jaivon Prince at Liverpool Street Station. Prince initially denied having any drugs in his possession, but after officers searched his home address and found wraps of heroin and crack cocaine with a street value of around £20,000; he admitted to having two packets of drugs concealed within his body. Prince was taken to hospital, where hundreds of wraps of heroin and cocaine were recovered, totalling around £2,000.
On 13 October 2016 three simultaneous search warrants were executed at the addresses of Kenechi and Oluchi Ochereobia and Dos Santos in Cardiff and London, and the three were all arrested. Officers found around £23,000 in cash hidden in Kenechi's Cardiff home. Officers found several pictures that showed Kenechi posing with large amounts of cash - proceeds of his drug dealing.
Kenechi tried to make out that he was running a legitimate clothes distribution business, but was unable to provide any tangible evidence of this business that would account for the amount of cash that was both seized and seen in pictures Kenechi posed in.
The six men were all subsequently charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs - namely heroin and crack cocaine.
Murawski and Prince both pleaded guilty to the conspiracy on 17 November 2016 and Friday, 17 March respectively. The other four were all found guilty on Friday, 12 May at Blackfriars Crown Court following a trial. All six were sentenced on Friday, 26 May.
Kenechi Ochereobia, 25 (28.05.91) of Foster Drive, Panylan, Cardiff was charged on 13 October 2016 with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and was found guilty at Blackfriars Crown Court on Friday, 12 May. He was sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment.
Oluchi Ochereobia, 22 (07.12.94) of Mandeville Street, Hackney was charged on 19 December 2016 with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and was found guilty at Blackfriars Crown Court on Friday, 12 May. He was sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment.
Elliot Murawski, 26 (07.06.90) of Riverside Road, Norwich, was charged on 2 September 2016 with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (in relation to his arrest on 30 August 2016) to which he pleaded guilty at Blackfriars Crown Court and was previously sentenced to two years' imprisonment.
Murawski was subsequently charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs on 7 November 2016 and pleaded guilty at Blackfriars Crown Court on 17 November 2016. He was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment.
Frankie Dos Santos was charged on Monday, 16 January with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and was found guilty at Blackfriars Crown Court on Friday, 12 May. He was sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment.
Calvyn Senna Green, 25 (29.01.92) of Keyworth Close, Hackney was charged on 10 November 2016 with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and was found guilty at Blackfriars Crown Court on Friday, 12 May. He was sentenced to five years and six months’ imprisonment.
Jaivon Prince, 20 (13.12.96) of Daubney Road, Hackney, was charged on 21 September 2016 with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs to which he pleaded guilty.
He was subsequently charged on 24 October 2016 with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs to which he also pleaded guilty on Friday, 17 March. He was sentenced to six years and four months’ imprisonment.

South African police detectives from the Greater Karoo attached to OCU-Narcotics, on Sunday morning, May 28, arrested a Nigerian man and a Zimbawean woman and seized drugs worth more than R20 million.
The 49-year-old Nigerian man and the Zimbabwean woman, 28, were driving along the N1 from Johannesburg to Cape Town with the stash.
Police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie said the man and woman would appear in the Beaufort West Magistrate’s Court on Monday on charges related to the sale of drugs.
According to Pojie, the drugs were found after a joint operation by several police units. Western Cape detectives, members of the narcotics unit and the police’s dog unit in the Central Karoo were involved.
He said the drugs – cocaine and tik – which the police confiscated, was worth about R20.5 million.
The two were arrested at about 06:00 on Sunday morning after the car in which they were travelling was stopped. When police searched the car, they found 52kg of tik and more than 5kg of cocaine. It was hidden in plastic bags in the boot. They were arrested and the drugs and car confiscated.
The police suspect that the drugs had been destined for distribution in the Cape metropole. Pojie said it was one of the biggest drug busts this year in the Southern Cape.

John Legend donates $5000 to help feed kids in 99 Seattle schools
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are the ultimate humanitarian couple and John is the latest to loosen his purse strings for a good cause. The singer donated $5000 towards a project aimed at providing meals for kids in Seattle's public schools. The GoFundMe project is the brainchild of Jeff Lew who wants to help erase the nearly $21,000 total school lunch debt in 99 Seattle public schools.
Jeff was taken aback to discover John donated $5000 to the cause, the single biggest donation. On GoFundMe, Lew wrote that his child attends one of Seattle's public schools, where if a student owes $15 or more for meals, schools provide a modified meal.
In some cases, when a student doesn't have enough money for lunch, cafeteria staff take away the child's tray of hot food and hand the student a brown paper bag containing a cold cheese sandwich and a small milk, according to CNN
This practice is what some call 'lunch-shaming', which Lew says 'is an awful thing and it should not be happening'.

7 children, 14 women and 12 men drowned after boat capsized in Mediterranean
Malta-based NGO, Migrant Offshore Aid Station, MOAS, has released statement on the Mediterranean tragedy in which over 30 African migrants including toddlers drowned. Read below:
24th May 2017 saw one of MOAS’ most tragic rescues to date.
Overcrowding and sea swell tipped hundreds into the water during a rescue yesterday. 32 bodies were recovered to MOAS vessel Phoenix alongside 604 survivors, one of whom has since died on board despite our medical crew’s desperate efforts to save him.
Several survivors are still in critical condition, including a 6-month pregnant woman who is being monitored for pregnancy related complications following the stress of losing her young son yesterday.
The MOAS aircraft began spotting vessels in distress in the early morning of Wednesday and the Phoenix’s RHIBS (rubber hulled inflatable boats) were soon after deployed to begin the first rescue. As people shifted on deck following life-jacket distribution a slight swell hit the vessel, causing it to roll heavily, washing approximately 400 people overboard leaving still hundreds locked below deck in the hold.
At this point the Phoenix issued a mayday relay to authorities as the MOAS RHIBs began pulling people from the water and other MOAS crew members attempted to break the locks into the hold of the wooden boat to rescue survivors from below deck.
An Italian navy helicopter appeared on scene to scout survivors, a Spanish aircraft deployed 3 life rafts and the Italian Coast Guard, navy and 2 commercial vessels approached to assist as many hundreds remained in the water. The numbers of people in the water made the rescue efforts increasingly delicate, requiring extreme caution and care as the rescue boats navigated the people and debris at sea in a hunt for survivors.
604 survivors were eventually embarked onto the Phoenix, both from the water and the hold of the wooden boat, following forced entry by the MOAS team. Approximately 80 survivors were also taken on board by tug boat Gagliardo.
As the recovery operation for casualties began, MOAS’ post rescue medical team turned their attention to the survivors in critical condition. Three of the most critical patients, diagnosed to be suffering from broken and fractured bones and a 9-month pregnant woman suffering from complications (accompanied by 2 family members), were medically evacuated from Phoenix by the Italian Navy vessel Libra.
Despite tireless life – saving efforts by the MOAS post rescue team, one man eventually succumbed to complications on board and has passed away. A 6-month pregnant woman whose young child is among the casualties on board is also being monitored closely following complications related to her pregnancy.
“There are no words for what is happening in the Central Mediterranean right now. It is a horrifying tragedy that continues to unfold on Europe’s doorstep. MOAS is doing everything it can but alternative solutions must be found by Europe’s leaders if this continuing loss of life is to be mitigated.” Says Christopher Catrambone, MOAS founder who was witness to yesterday’s rescue efforts.
Finally, the Phoenix began its journey north with 598 survivors and 33 casualties on board and is due to disembark in an Italian port on the morning of Friday 26th May.
Regina Catrambone, MOAS Director, says:
“We are all devastated by the needless loss of life yesterday, particularly that of young children. We strongly urge the G7 leaders currently meeting in Sicily, at the heart of this humanitarian crisis, to focus on implementable humanitarian solutions, rather than pushing unrealistic agendas centred around border control. As the Phoenix sails north today it not only carries the weight of the 32 bodies recovered at sea, but also the weight of the apathy of the global community and its leaders.”

'I knew on my honeymoon it wasn't going to work out.' - Kim K says of her brief marriage to Kris Humphries
'I knew on my honeymoon it wasn't going to work out.' Kim K said of her brief marriage to NBA player, Kris Humphries. During her appearance on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live on Sunday night, the 36-year-old mother of two said she rushed into marriage after freaking out that she was 30 and unmarried.
'I just thought, 'Holy s**t, I'm 30 years old, I better get this together, I better get married. I think a lot of girls do go through that where they freak out thinking they're getting old and have to figure it out, all their friends are having kids. It was more of that situation.'
Kim said after marrying Kris just 8 months after they began dating, she knew she had made a mistake. And she knew the marriage was a mistake just a few days into it.
Kim filed for divorce from Kris after just 72 days of marriage in October 2011
