'Never bite the hands that once fed you & despise the home that gave you shelter' - E-Money's wife speaks out

E-Money's wife, Juliet Okonkwo has finally shared her thoughts on the ongoing drama between Five Star Music and Harrysong. To catch up (Read here). Speaking out in a post on social media, she wrote:

"Never break the pot that once gave you water .Never bite the hands that once fed you. Never despise the home that once gave you shelter.
Never punch holes in the umbrella that once gave you cover. Never insult the breasts that once gave pleasure. And never malign the church that once gave you fire. If , for now you have outgrown their usefulness, leave them intact , and go quietly and honourably. For it may be the time and season of Breakthrough for others also . Becareful how you close a door. Never ever bang it, you may need to walk through that same door tomorrow. Have a Blessed Week Friends"

Rap is dead' in Nigeria - Terry Tha Rapman supports Yung6ix

Earlier today, rapper Yung6ix expressed his frustration with Nigerian rap music with a tweet that reads, 'When I wanna listen to African rap I play Yung6ix and SA rappers wtf is going on with the Nigerian Rappers ? Wake up'.

Apparently he's not alone in his line of thoughts. Terry Tha Rapman who says,

'I kinda get where he's coming from. I've been stressing this for long, when I said 'rap is dead' in Nigeria I didn't mean nobody is rapping. I meant we (being the fans, media and promoters) stopped supporting rap music as it should be at a point'.
He continued to say, 'Now would you blame rappers for fine tuning their style? Rappers hardly get the airplay/support as our pop counterparts so after years we started adapting. I still believe there's hope. We are far from the days of Trybesmen, 2shotz, Ruggedman, Modenine and when MI dropped Talk About It and MI2. We need more rap concerts to promote hip-hop culture. The few ones I've been to were not encouraging'.

Do we deserve our leaders?

These words of French lawyer, diplomat, writer, and philosopher, Joseph de Maistre inevitably crop up where politics, democracy or governance is discussed. Put simply, leaders are an accurate representation of national psyche, attitudes and identity.

They are the fruits and the masses are the tree. Logically, this holds true. Leaders come from among the people and as such mirror the general composition of the populace.

In light of the above, can it be said that our political, religious, and social leaders are fruits of seeds we have sown? We moan a lot about what terrible leaders we have but perhaps we should remove the log in our eyes? What do you guys think?

Check out this body painting art ...

Nice one!
