Ghana v Cameroon Betting: Broos' surprise package could be tough to beat once more

Having exceeded expectations thanks to a resolute team spirit, Al Hain-Cole is backing the Indomitable Lions to frustrate Grant's team in Franceville.
Ghana and Cameroon will go head-to-head for a place in the Africa Cup of Nations final when they meet at the Stade de Franceville on Thursday, in a rematch of the 2008 semi-final.
The Indomitable Lions ran out 1-0 winners on that occasion, but are marginal 12/5 (3.40) outsiders with Paddy Power to come out on top once again nine years later.
Runners-up to the Ivory Coast in the last tournament, Avram Grant's team are available at 6/4 (2.50) to give themselves a chance of atonement by reaching their second consecutive final with victory here.

Hugo Broos' men have reached the last four despite drawing three of their four matches in Gabon, and you can get odds of 9/5 (2.80) on them taking this one into extra-time after another stalemate in 90 minutes. Although one of the biggest names in African football, few expected Cameroon to seriously challenge for their fifth continental title at this year’s competition.
Having failed to even qualify in both 2012 and 2013 before being eliminated at the group stages in 2015, their chances of making up for lost time seem slim after a number of big name players refused call-ups to the squad this time out.
However, by refusing to pay deference to the reputation of some of the higher profile stars and instead investing faith in ambitious youngsters, their Belgian coach has forged a team capable of testing anyone.
After easing through the group stages thanks to two draws and a slender win over Guinea-Bissau, they demonstrated an impressive resolve by holding tournament favourites Senegal to a 0-0 draw, eventually holding their nerve to win on penalties.
With the Black Stars looking strong an expected to welcome all-time top scorer Asamoah Gyan back from injury, Broos’ team are likely to put in another similarly solid performance in this clash.
Unlikely to take too many chances, odds of 11/8 (2.38) seem sound on them ensuring under 1.5 goals for a third consecutive match when they take on a Ghanaian team that has hit the net just four times in the last six competitive matches.
